Belize River Lodge and the Long Caye Outpost Lodge (LCOL) offers many packages – fishing, eco/adventure–touring and combination fishing and eco/adventure–touring. Below are a few of our fishing packages. If you do not see a package that you are interested in, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to quote a different package for you. Please look at these main packages as a starting point for planning your vacation. Also, please note that if you are coming ashore in Belize City for the day on a cruiseship, Belize River Lodge offers a day fishing package that caters to cruise passengers. LCOL: Fishing Packages
Long Caye Outpost Lodge (LCOL) is booked by the group only, so whether your group is 2 anglers, 4 anglers or 6 anglers, it is just you, your group and the staff at Long Caye. Staff consists of one guide for every two anglers, the cook and helper/housekeeper, maintenance person (for generator, water pumps, etc) and island caretaker. LCOL has package rates for 2 anglers, 4 anglers and/or 6 anglers and for R&R/Tour packages. Please contact us for package rates not listed.

LCOL Fishing Package Includes: Round trip airport (BZE) transfers in Belize, accommodations, daily housekeeping, all meals – including a box lunch, soda & drinking water, guided fishing, skiff & fuel, transfer to and from Long Caye, Belize Taxes of 9% Hotel Tax & 12.5% GST tax.
LCOL Fishing Package Does Not Include: Airfare to & from Belize, fishing equipment & tackle, Belize Fishing License (US$25.00 per angler, per week), snorkel equipment, alcoholic beverages, tips to guides and staff, Belize Departure Tax (approximately US$73.50 per person – already included in your ticket or paid at Airport)

Holiday Surcharges
Add 15% to package chosen, when the trip commences or terminates on or during the following dates yearly: December 24th to December 27th and January 1st to January 3rd
Reservations
Belize River Lodge is open year round. When booking, please note, that we do not have any preset arrival or departure days. Whatever dates are available that best fit your schedule works well and can be booked, so you can arrive any day of the week. Late reservations/last minute bookings are welcome if a guide is available.
Reservations & Deposits
We suggest that you book your trip in advance (90 to 120 days). A per person deposit is required: 50% of package price, to be paid within 21 days after reservation has been made, in order to secure reservation. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer, Mastercard or Visa. Late reservations/last minute bookings are welcome if a guide is available.
Cancellations
Cancellations – deposits are refundable only if written cancellation is received at the Lodge 120 days prior to guest’s arrival. Less than 120 days, deposits will be refunded ONLY if a replacement can be found. Cancellations must be in writing to the Lodge. Please note there is a US$100.00 per person processing fee on all cancellations.
Final Payment
Due at the Lodge, 90 days prior to guest’s arrival at the Lodge.
Late Reservations
In cases where a booking is made & the time is less than 60 days; customers can pay in full by credit card or on the arrival day at the Lodge in cash.

How to Get to Belize
Belize is easy to get to and is served by several gateway cities in the USA and some Central American countries. All commercial international airlines fly into the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) in Ladyville, (airport code: BZE) just a few minutes from Belize City. A BRL representative meets you at the airport and transfer you to the Lodge to get checked in. Below are the airlines and routes currently flying to Belize.

Travel Documents
A valid passport is required to enter Belize and must be valid at least six months beyond the duration of your stay. Visitors from the USA, UK and most of the Caribbean do not need Visas. Travel Protection
Travel Insurance and protection is always nice to have as you never know what the future will hold or if plans need to be changed at the last minute. Many travel insurance sites are available. Belize River Lodge strongly recommends that you enroll with Global Rescue prior to your trip if you are getting trip insurance.
Note: If you are booked during hurricane season (June to October), and you have paid for your trip, if a storm brews and your trip has to be postponed, no problem, you don’t lose any money, you have one year to reschedule your dates.
Carry-on Baggage
Most anglers like to carry on their rods, reels and fishing equipment. Carry-on regulation are not set in stone and depend on the airport that you are traveling from. The most up-to-date information on security procedures can be found on the web at www.tsa.gov. While not specific, it is a good guideline.
Belize Departure Tax
There is a fee of US$55.50 for the Belize Departure Tax and Airport Security Fees that may be included in your ticket. If not, it must be paid at the airport in US dollars. For your convenience, please bring small bills to cover this.
